The Disability Trusts motivation is to create an inclusive world. This means we value diversity and believe in the rights of all to participate freely in the life of our communities. For The Trust relationships are important and we work with our customers to support them to live the life they choose. We can assist by supporting people to gain skills, find jobs, live independently or with support in the community or to take part in community activities and events that support inclusion.
Since our establishment in 1974 The Trust has grown to become one of the largest disability service providers in NSW. As we have grown we have maintained an over-riding commitment to quality care and support tailored to the needs of each individual. Our approach to services is individualised, strengths based and personal.
As our name implies, trust is central to our operations. People with disabilities and their families trust us to give them the highest possible levels of care and advocacy; our staff trust us to provide the training and support they need to deliver quality services.
