NOTICE OF PUBLIC EVENT GTM Festivals Pty Ltd would like to advise the community of Maitland that Groovin the Moo (GTM) music festival will be held at the Maitland Showground, Blomfield Street on Saturday 23d April 2022. The event begins at 10.30am and will be completed by 10.30pm. There will be increased vehicle and pedestrian traffic in the immediate area around Maitland Showground including Maitland Park, Blomfield Street, Anzac Street, Trappaud and Louth Park Roads. The following traffic restrictions will be controlled by Police, Security and traffic controllers, and road closure details are as follows: Temporary road closures between 8.00am to midnight Saturday 23" April 2022: Anzac Street - from Cracknell Lane to Blomfield Street Blomfield Street - from Anzac Street to Devonshire Street Gipps Street - from Blomfield Street to car park area Smith Street - from Blomfield Street to car park area Rose Street - from Cross Street to Blomfield Street Park Street - from Louth Park Road to Elgin Street Elgin Street - 300m south of Walker Street to Park Street Evans Street Convert to one-way movement from 8.00am to midnight Saturday 23 April 2022: Cutivation Road southbound full length to Trappaud Road Louth Park Road - southbound from Les Darcy Drive Trappaud Rd Pender Road - northbound full iength from Trappaud Road Temporary NO PARKING zone from 8.00am Saturday 23rd April 2022 to 12 noon Sunday 24t" April 2022: Both sides of Louth Park Road - from Les Darcy Drive to Trappaud Road Both sides of Cracknell Lane - from Anzac Street to Cultivation Road Southern end of Elgin Street to Park Street Western end of Park street Both sides of Cultivation Road - from Cracknell Lane to Trappaud Road NO vehicle access within the temporary closure area; Evans St, Thery St, Sparke St, Campbells Ln, Wallace St and sections of Anzac and Blomfield Streets. GTM can provide resident vehicle parking at alternate location outside of the road closure's which can be accessed during the closure / event period. Please contact GTM on the details below to obtain resident vehicle pass and relative information. The GTM patron event car park will be located on Cultivation Road. The dedicated event drop off and pick up zone is located at Maitland Train Station carpark. All private charter buses will use the netball car park located on Park Street as the drop off and pick up point. GTM patron shuttle buses will utilize the angle parking on along Elgin and Park Streets as drop off and pick up zone. Elgin and Park Streets, Louth Park and Trappaud Roads and Melbourne Street, will have a high volume of bus and coach movement during the hours of 9am - 11.30pm. There will be two pedestrian crossings installed to allow patrons to safely cross the roadways, Intersection of Louth Park Road & Blomfield Street the second on Cultivation Road. We are also slowing the speed limit in the immediate precinct to 40kms for safety. An Event Hotline will be in operation during the hours of 7am to 6pm each day of site occupation, and from 7am to 11.30pm on event day.
