Welcome to Our Lady of Lourdes – Tarro. Our Lady of Lourdes Primary School, Tarro is a systemic Catholic school within the Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle, catering for students from Kindergarten to Year 6 from the areas of Tarro, Woodberry, Beresfield, Thornton, Tenambit and Ashtonfield. Our school community is warm and welcoming, with a strong focus on supporting children with additional needs to help them reach their individual learning goals. The school celebrates the unique gifts and qualities of each individual student and encourages them to fully participate in the life of their class and school. At Our Lady of Lourdes, students can participate in many extra-curricular activities and competitions beyond the classroom environment such as debating, public speaking, ICAS, Science and Technology challenges, spelling bees and sporting events.
